لكن الأطباء في ريال مدريد لا يريدون المجازفة بأفضل لاعب في العالم 2013 من أجل مباراة في متناول اليد على ملعب البرنابيو بما أن الفريق استطاع التصرف بحكمة بداية هذا الأسبوع أمام ريال سوسيداد وفاز برباعية نظيفة مع اهداره لعدد هائل من الفرص السهلة أمام مرمى الحارس التشيلي برافو.

ويسعى الأطباء لإراحة رونالدو من جديد بهدف تحضيره للقاء برشلونة في نهائي كأس إسبانيا بعد أربعة أيام فقط من مباراة آلميريا يوم 16 أبريل الجاري.

صاحب الـ28 عاماً، خرج من تشكيلة الفريق الملكي أمام ريال سوسيداد في الآنويتا بالجولة ال32 من الليجا، لكنه عاد للظهور في القائمة المستدعاه (دون مشاركة) بمباراة بوروسيا دورتموند في السيجنال إيدونا بارك بإياب ربع نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا والتي خسرها الفريق بهدفين دون رد.

وخضع «كريس» لفحص طبي جديد أمس الاربعاء بعد شعوره بالقلق لاختبار مماثل للألم الذي شعر به بداية الأسبوع الجاري قبل السفر إلى ألمانيا وأظهرت النتائج تحسنًا كبيرًا لركبته من ذلك التورم الذي تعرض له بعد تسجيله للهدف الذي ساعد ريال مدريد بنسبة 90٪ على بلوغ الدور نصف النهائي على حساب بوروسيا دورتموند في لقاء الذهاب.

وأخبر رونالدو زملاءه في ريال مدريد صباح يوم مباراة دورتموند منتصف هذا الأسبوع بأنه قد خضع لاختبار لياقة لمعرفة ما إذا كان سيصلح للعب في ألمانيا أم لا، لكنه لم يستطع تحمل نفس الألم ما أدى لانسحابه من التدريبات لكن ذلك لم يسبب في خروجه من التشكيلة المستدعاه.

ونظراً لنتائج هذا الاختبار فقد تقرر ألا يلعب ولو لدقيقة واحدة ضد بوروسيا دورتموند، وهذا هو السبب الذي أبقاه على دكة البدلاء طوال أحداث المرحلة الثانية من المباراة، ورفض أنشيلوتي المجازفة به بناء على نصيحة الأطباء بعد تأخره بهدفين دون رد واقترابه من الخسارة وتوديع البطولة.

وأكدت صحيفة ماركا الإسبانية قلق الجهاز الفني ومجلس إدارة ريال مدريد والأطباء، وجميع الأطراف المهنية، من تفاقم إصابة الركبة اليسرى لرونالدو في هذه المرحلة الحرجة من الموسم لذا فإن كل الاحتمالات تنصب نحو اراحته من جديد أمام ألميريا كي يكون على أهبة الاستعداد للكلاسيكو وقيادة الفريق للتتويج بالكوبا دي ريا كما فعل عام 2011 برأسيته التاريخية بعد التمديد (د103).
